Clothier Lacey has been working for Caedmon Homes since the start of 2019.  As a relative newcomer to the residential development sector in Yorkshire, our brief is to not only promote the company, but its current three developments in Kirby Hill (near Boroughbridge), the centre of York and Whitby.

Our Approach

We are experienced at working with other project partners in the delivery of a marketing plan and working on the Caedmon Homes’ business is no exception.  In this case, PR support is being provided through the highly experienced Robert Beaumont Associates of York, while Ravensworth/Zoopla are responsible for design and print.  Advertising is booked via the various estate agents employed for each site.

As a new developer, Caedmon Homes wishes to maintain a low cost base and we act as an extension to the directors, attending monthly meetings to agree the work for the next month and generally working extremely closely with them and our other marketing team partners to ensure everything that is required, is there when it is needed.  We are also using our extensive network of contacts to make introductions.

Our brief involves the provision of strategic marketing advice, media liaison over advertising bookings, project management, writing and production of all advertising, brochures and the website as well as the development and implementation of a social media strategy – in short, managing a communications campaign that drives sales and increases brand awareness for the company.

Measurable Outcomes

During the last year, social media platforms have been established on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, achieving a strong follower base with an overall engagement rate of 9.43% on Facebook, which is used for direct promotion of sites and messaging.

Sales are going well at all sites and although we are not directly responsible for conversion of enquiries into sales, the standard, continuity and relevance of our messaging and promotion is providing robust support for the sales process.
